Job Summary
Hire Resolve is seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in the Aerospace and Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing production processes, ensuring efficiency, and upholding the high-quality standards required in the aerospace sector.
Responsibilities
- Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S) to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Develop and refine process workflows to ensure compliance with aerospace industry standards.
- Oversee changes in manufacturing processes to accommodate new products or updated designs.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to address non-conformance issues and ensure product quality.
- Identify and implement new technologies (e.g., automation, 3D printing) to improve production efficiency.
- Collect and analyze production performance data (e.g., cycle times, equipment efficiency).
- Monitor and control manufacturing costs to optimize resource allocation and reduce expenses.
- Develop reports and present process improvement findings to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations in the production environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of industrial engineering experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies, including Six Sigma.
- Strong understanding of aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO).
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks) for process design and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as metal forming and composites.
- Proficient in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab) to track and improve production performance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
