Job Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for all contracts of the company in pre-contract phase and execution phase, and supervision of all company’s projects.
- Contracts Management in pre-contract phase
- Analyses the conditions of the contract, put forward countermeasures, review bidding documents, and chair the contract negotiation in the bidding process.
- Drafts and prepares the main contract according to marketing needs.
- Project Supervision - Supervises the projects for China Headquarter, provides related information and materials for the supervising team of China Headquarter, provides necessary support to project team.
- Any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the management
INTERNAL / EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS
- English is normal language
- Mandarin or Afrikaans will be preferred
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Quantity Survey or relevant fields from a reputable University
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in contracts administration, preferably in the engineering and construction industry.
- Experience in management of Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract will be an advantage.
- Familiar with FIDIC, NEC or other international contracts template will be preferred.
- Familiar with legal regulations, variation valuation and claims, commercial contract negotiation.
