Leading machine manufacturer based in the Western Cape Winelands requires a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in machine design and manufacturing. Skills / Experience Required: *National Diploma Mechanical Engineering minimum *Minimum 3 years experience in machine design and manufacturing *Minimum 2 years CAD experience *Computer literate in MS Word, MS Excel, 2D CAD *Must be competent in 3D CAD machine design *Ability to work independently as well as function within a team *Must be able to travel both nationally and internationally *Positive attitude, self-motivated and reliable Annual Remuneration: * R450 000 - R550 000 ctc neg Key Responsibilities: *Produce efficient designs within the framework of simplicity, feasibility, cost efficiency and accuracy *Compile assemblies and detailed manufacturing drawings in accordance with acknowledged manufacturing standards *Compile part specifications, BOM’s, production orders and manuals *Implement engineering change proposals (ECP’s) on designs *Issue revisions and update the manufacturing drawings, material lists and machine manuals *Lay-out drawing of customer manufacturing area *Drafting of P&ID *Provide technical support during manufacturing processes and for technicians on-site Contact Scott on 0117041302
