Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Professional Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable firm in Cape Town. This role is perfect for those ready to take a leadership position in quantity surveying with a solid background in managing large-scale projects.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire quantity surveying process from inception to completion on multiple projects.
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to stakeholders.
- Evaluate tenders and negotiate contracts with service providers.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting.
- Provide expert advice on contractual matters and procurement strategies.
- Liaise with clients and project teams to ensure clear communication and expectations.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies as necessary.
- Mentor and develop junior quantity surveying staff.
Requirements:
- BSc or BTech in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with SACQSP.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the Quantity Surveying field.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, procurement, and project management.
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
