Job Summary
Hire Resolve is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our client's team in KwaZulu-Natal. The successful candidate will oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage civil and building structure projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
- Monitor project progress, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Prepare and present project reports to management and stakeholders.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers and project staff.
- Manage procurement of materials and services as needed.
- Conduct site inspections and oversee quality control throughout project phases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered with SACPMP.
- Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) certification.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil structures and building structures.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects successfully.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
