Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer specializing in asset integrity of stationary equipment within the Refinery, NGLF, or Petrochemical industry. The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience, with at least 5-10 years of field experience in major turnarounds and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Provide support for instrumentation and control systems, including valves, relief systems, flow measurement, gas metering, vibration monitoring, and compressor controls.
Conduct mechanical integrity assessments for piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, and fire heaters.
Perform mechanical calculations for piping stress, pressure vessel stability, and fitness-for-service evaluations.
Develop repair procedures for static equipment and hydrocarbon leak repairs.
Review and approve engineering design packages for piping modifications and plant improvements.
Support turnaround and shutdown activities, ensuring compliance with industry codes and safety standards.
Participate in incident investigations, HAZOP studies, and plant reliability assessments.
Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in piping design and mechanical engineering standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
8-15 years of experience in Refinery, NGLF, or Petrochemical industries.
Strong knowledge of ASME, API, NACE, ASTM, ISO standards.
Preferably certified in API-510, API-570, API-653.
Proficiency in engineering software for mechanical calculations and analysis.
