Job Summary
Our client is seeking a Estimator with experience in the Engineering Industry with exposure to structural, mechanical and piping environment. This will be a permanent opportunity and based in Johannesburg.
The Key Responsibilities for this Role Include
- Prepare estimations and tenders for all construction projects
- Provide technical and financial solutions for tenders
- Accurately take off quantities from drawings
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for installations
- Prepare pricing schedules/ BOQs
Qualification
- Grade 12
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Project Management or similar (NQF Level 7)
Experience
- 5-10 years of experience working as a Estimator within the Engineering industry
- Experience in Piping, Mechanical and Structural environments
- Experience working on power plant or heavy industrial projects (essential)
- Read and Comprehend mechanical, construction designs and assembly drawings (structural or mechanical)
- CCS experience
