Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Instrumentation Engineer with 5 years of experience in oil and gas project management. The ideal candidate will have expertise in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) phases, instrumentation system design, and process automation. A strong technical background, professional demeanor, and relevant certifications such as PMP and FE are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain instrumentation and control systems for oil and gas projects.
- Oversee instrumentation engineering tasks across all EPC phases, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Review and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISA, API, IEC, and NEC).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and process engineers.
- Conduct site inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and commissioning activities.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project presentations.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure project execution aligns with specifications.
- Ensure safety, reliability, and efficiency of instrumentation and automation systems.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science (BS) in Instrumentation Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in instrumentation engineering.
- Industry Experience: Strong background in oil and gas project management and EPC phases.
- Preferred Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) and FE (Fundamentals of Engineering).
