Job Summary
A company in Pretoria is hiring a Construction Project Manager.
Overview:
The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the the successful implementation of various projects
The position requires an experienced candidate with full understanding of all aspects of the built environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects in line with international best practice
- Plan projects in terms of scope; schedule & costs
- Manage the execution of projects within agreed scope, cost and schedule constraints
- Implement project quality system
- Manage project resources
- Appoint, lead & coordinate professional teams to achieve project objectives
- Lead & supervise construction contracts
- Manage project communication, including client, user and stakeholders
- Manage project risks
- Manage project procurement
- Conduct technical and contract meetings
- Prepare fee proposals & bids
- Construction contract administration
Experience Required:
5 years Construction Project Management experience in Consulting; built environment
Qualifications:
- BSc Construction Studies / Construction Management / Quantity Surveying
- BSc Honors in Construction Management (advantageous)
- PMP / Pr.CPM (advantageous)
Skills Required:
- Working knowledge of JBCC; FIDIC; NEC & GCC
- MS Office
- MS Projects
- PMBO
