Key Responsibilities

• Training & Facilitation: Deliver maritime training programs to ensure learners acquire required skills and knowledge.
• Competency Assessments: Conduct individual assessments to evaluate learner competency in maritime processes and safety practices.
• Curriculum Development: Design and update training materials to meet evolving maritime industry standards.
• Compliance Oversight: Ensure learners adhere to maritime safety regulations and operational guidelines.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate training records, attendance, and learner progress reports.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with maritime organizations, regulatory bodies, and clients to align training with industry requirements.
• Learning Interventions: Identify knowledge gaps and implement remedial training for individuals or groups.
• Health & Safety: Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental policies during training activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• A relevant qualification in Maritime Studies or Education and Training.
• Accreditation as a facilitator, assessor, or moderator (advantageous).
• Proven experience in maritime training or operational roles.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and digital training tools.

Preferred Requirements

• Experience in a port or maritime setting.

• Multilingual skills (advantageous).
