Job Summary
Hire Resolve is excited to present an opportunity for a Warehouse Manager located in Cape Town. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the effective management of stock and the efficiency of the supply chain process.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inventory management, shipping, and receiving.
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, ensuring they are trained and motivated to perform at their best.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards to uphold a safe working environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and other departments to optimize stock levels and fulfill orders promptly.
- Establish and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor warehouse performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance operations.
- Ensure that all inventory is stored correctly and accounted for.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management
- Must have handled Chemicals and Raw Materials
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems and MS Office applications.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
