Job Title: Construction Manager
Location: Northern Cape, Kgalagadi District, Kathu
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time
Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee all construction activities on-site
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project completion within budget and schedule
- Monitor and enforce compliance with health and safety regulations
- Prepare and update project schedules and budget reports
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during construction
- Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Manager
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Health and Safety certification
Education:
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management
Knowledge and Skills:
- Proficient in project management software
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- Understanding of budgeting and financial management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Chartered status with a relevant professional body
- Previous experience in the mining industry
Working Conditions:
- Work on-site in various weather conditions
- Travel may be required to different project locations
- Regular interaction with construction team members and stakeholders
