Description:Hire Resolve's client is currently seeking a Mine Overseer to join their well-established mining company based in the Mpumalanga province. As a Mine Overseer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all mining activities in the mining operation, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and achieving production targets.
Responsibilities:
- Maximize the efficient use and allocation of resources.
- Analyze theoretical principles to identify and implement enhancements.
- Create and oversee a system for managing documents to enable streamlined storage and retrieval.
- Follow the Mine’s Code of Practice and promptly report any irregularities.
- Uphold and comply with established Safety, Health, and Environmental protocols.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- Metalliferous Mining Blasting Certificate
- Mine Overseer/Mine Managers' Certificate of Competency
- 8 years' experience in the mining industry (Gold preferred)
- 5 years' experience as a Production Supervisor/Mine Overseer
- Medium and Short-Term Planning experience
- Valid Drivers' License
