Job Overview:
Hire Resolve's Leading Mining Clients are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Supervisor to join their mining operation in the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day IT operations at our mine site, ensuring all systems and equipment are running smoothly and efficiently. The IT Supervisor will also be responsible for managing a team of IT technicians and providing technical support to all staff as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of all IT systems and equipment at the mine site
- Manage a team of IT technicians, providing guidance and support as needed
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure the security and reliability of our systems
- Collaborate with other departments to address IT-related issues and improve overall efficiency
- Conduct regular audits of IT systems to identify and address any vulnerabilities or weaknesses
- Provide technical support to all staff, assisting with any IT-related problems or questions
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in IT technology and make recommendations for upgrades or improvements as needed
Requirements:
- Grade 12- Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
- 5 years in an IT department within a mining environment
Benefits:
- Salary: R800k – R900k
