Job Summary
A leading automotive manufacturer is looking for a Key Account Manager with experience in dealing with the Independent Automotive Channels. To secure, develop and maintain client relationship and become a strategic partner with assigned accounts by consulting with a high degree of expertise and knowledge, raising the level of contact and staying visible within the assigned accounts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the preparation of contractual agreements and ensure terms are adhered to
- Effectively solve problems and manage risks to ensure achievement of targets
- Prepare presentations, proposals, contract reports as necessary
- Provide reports and analysis as required
- Monitoring all aspects of the company service in respect of the client and taking action to resolve any issues without delay
- Representing the client's interest within company to ensure that service adjustments are made where necessary
- Responsible for the ongoing liaison between clients and the company
- To ensure that client needs and expectations are being met deviations to be reported
- Ensuring that a close relationship is built with an understanding of the client's research
- Advising on changes and trends in the marketplace and the activities of competitors
- Contacting clients to maintain relationship
- Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant divisions
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
- Grade 12 with a relevant Degree or Diploma
- 5-10 Years’ experience in a Key Accounts role with specific experience in Key Account Management
- To have experience in successful liaison with both customers and internal stake holders
- Good customer service orientation and communication skills
- A strong consciousness of responsibility and dedication
