Job Description:
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, promoting the platform to automotive dealers, and increasing the number of dealers using the platform. You will be expected to actively pursue leads, negotiate deals, and provide excellent customer service throughout the sales process. This is a target-driven role where initiative and self-motivation are key.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell the client’s platform to automotive dealers, increasing the dealer customer base.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing dealers.
- Actively seek out and follow up on sales leads and opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet sales targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Collaborate with the team to identify potential opportunities for business growth.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing the sale.
- Represent the company at meetings, exhibitions, and dealer events.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 completion is a must.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
- Proven sales experience.
- Automotive background / knowledge is beneficial, but not essential.
- Strong customer service and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently without the need for micro-management.
- Highly motivated, honest, and enthusiastic with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to meet sales targets and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Previous experience in business development is an advantage.
- Training will be provided, but the ability to learn quickly and adapt is essential.
