Job Title: Executive Assistant
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Executive Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations, managing administrative tasks, and providing high-level support to the executive team. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting Management:
- Attend meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Prepare and distribute memos summarizing key discussion points and decisions.
- Identify follow-up tasks and responsibilities, ensuring they are clearly communicated to relevant team members.
- Monitor the progress of follow-up tasks and project manage them to completion.
- Email and Calendar Management:
- Organize and manage the executive’s email inbox, prioritizing and flagging important messages.
- Respond to emails on behalf of the executive when appropriate.
- Maintain and organize the executive’s calendar, scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
- Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries as needed.
- Administrative Support:
- Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
- Conduct research and compile data to support decision-making processes.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed to support the executive team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of discretion and professionalism.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in project management.
- Familiarity with [any specific tools or software you use, e.g., Asana, Trello, Slack].
Location: Remote work for a company based in the UK, candidate must be based in South Africa.
Salary offered: R20 000-R25 000 CTC per month, depending on experience.
Type: Full time permanent position.
